Key responsibilities
- Assisting in embedding a culture of appropriate and informed risk taking through communication and promotion of the Praxis Risk Management Framework;
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the Group’s Risk Management Framework, compassing: business risk assessments, risk register, controls matrix, key risk indicators and risk reporting;
- Working with risk owners to document risk assessments against the firms risk appetite and identify and assess controls in place to reduce risk to an acceptable residual level;
- Identifying, analysing and evaluating data to support risk assessments and the development of key risk indicators, including design and production of reports where required;
- Ensuring maintenance of records to evidence risk management activity including maintaining the risk register and risk control matrix;
- Monitoring and analysing ad hoc risk event reports as they arise across the to highlight emerging trends or risk concentrations;
- Assisting the Board in the collation and production of risk reporting tailored to relevant stakeholders;
- Other risk related functions as requested.
Minimum education and experience
- Educated to degree level desirable or a holder of relevant professional qualifications
- Experience of risk management frameworks, regulation, controls and assurance
- Experience of risk management through at least five years professional experience working in a similar role
- Experience of development of policies and procedures
