PraxisIFM's Melanie Ison on panel at STEP Asia 2019

Managing Director of our Hong Kong office Melanie Ison was one of three panel members at a session on private trust companies at the recent STEP Asia 2019 Conference in Singapore.

The keynote address was from Calvin Wong from the Singapore Economic Development Board who spoke about the future of single family offices in Asia. Topics over the two day conference ranged from updates on exchange of information and economic substance practical tips for trustees on holding art matrimonial matters surrounding multiple wills and asset protection.

'Our panel discussion on private trust company compliance and risk was very well received and we were pleased to also be involved as a sponsor of this key event for the first time' said Melanie.

The conference on 5 and 6 November was also attended by Jonathan Bailey from PraxisIFM in Guernsey and Novia Lu also from our Hong Kong office. With 550 attendees the STEP Asia conference is an important one in the calendar and PraxisIFM is proud to continue to support it.
