Praxis grows Netherlands business

Praxis will expand its services in the Netherlands with the acquisition of corporate services provider GlobalFowardTrust from Stroeken Accountants.

The Group has been growing its presence in the region since late 2017 and the latest acquisition adds IFRS US GAAP and other specialist accountancy services to its existing international expansion offering.

Praxis Group Chief Executive Officer Simon Thornton said that in addition to being able to offer its clients additional services the move also brought new opportunities. 'GlobalForwardTrust's location in the Brainport region of Eindhoven has developed into a base for technology companies looking to grow their global business and our international expansion services are a perfect match.'

Fred Stroeken owner of Stroeken Accountants feels that this important branch of the company he built is in good hands. 'Praxis Netherlands' management team and I were in complete agreement and we share the same values. They will be able to focus more specifically on the clients' needs when it comes to corporate and trust services enhanced by Praxis's exclusive international network. Praxis Netherlands took over responsibility for all GlobalForwardTrust clients as of 9th May 2018. The administrative activities of GlobalForwardTrust will remain with the Stroeken team at its location in the Eindhoven area.

There will be no impact on existing Praxis staff numbers or the Stroeken team.
