We partner with the Guernsey Careers Service and schools to offer work experience placements to the island’s students, giving them the opportunity to learn about different roles within the company, help them gain confidence and prepare for the world of work.

PraxisIFM is pleased to support this great initiative, which allows students to shadow a senior manager. The Institute of Directors Management Shadowing Programme presents a rare opportunity for Guernsey sixth form students to gain first hand experience of management in action which may include staff relations, dealing with clients and the public, administration, time management and organisational skills. Its breadth can only be fully appreciated when experienced at first hand.
We are delighted to be able to offer a bursary to assist Guernsey students during their three year degree course. We offer £2,500 each academic year with guaranteed work during the summer months.
- Excellent GCSE results (grade B and above)
- Prediction of a minimum of ABB at ‘A’ level or equivalent in UCAS points
- Necessary housing permit to work in Guernsey
