Philip worked as a tax adviser in the UK and mainland Europe for more than 10 years before he founded Jeffcote Donnison LLP in 1980.
Having worked previously in Amsterdam, he had an extensive knowledge of cross frontier tax transactions for private clients and also had access to an international network of professional firms.
Philip qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in 1980 and that year he founded Jeffcote Donnison LLP which continued to prove these services to a range of domestic and international clients. Philip set up offices in Isle of Man, Geneva and Hong Kong and remained the Senior Partner of the firm until the summer 2018 when he retired from Jeffcote Donnison and sold the corporate side of the JD business to PraxisIFM Group. He is now a Director of the PraxisIFM companies in London, Isle of Man and Hong Kong.
