Nicola graduated with a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Strathclyde in 2003 and a Law Degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2008.
Having qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2010 Nicola went on to qualify as an English solicitor in 2012 and practiced both English and Scots Law in Edinburgh, specialising in commercial property, until 2016 when she relocated to Guernsey, joining Mourant Ozannes as an Associate in the Property Department.
Nicola joined the In-House Legal Counsel team at PraxisIFM in December 2019 and is studying for the Diploma in International Trust Management with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
As part of the In-House Legal Counsel team, Nicola advises the private client team on all aspects of client transactions. Her background in property means she is well placed to provide legal advice to the many trust structures that have property portfolios.
