This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in an internal accounts function and a proven track record in debt collecting. The role involves managing the recovery of overdue debts and undertaking legal action where necessary. Reporting to the Managing Director of our Trust operation, the job holder will deal directly with clients, their advisers and liaise with the Client Relationship Team.

Applicants must have good communication, negotiation and computer skills and a sound knowledge of manual and computerised accounting systems including spreadsheet applications. A proactive, analytical and confident approach is required with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with the minimum of supervision.

The job holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Human Resources function in the Guernsey office and assist with various HR matters for the Group’s Malta, Luxembourg, London and UAE offices. Responsibilities include recruitment and overseeing the induction process, performance management, co-ordinating the probationary and annual appraisal processes, remuneration and benefits including the annual salary review and promotion process and employee support. 

Applicant’s should have a minimum of 10 years’ relevant HR experience and be fully CIPD qualified (Chartered Member), or nearing qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to deal with staff of all levels, a sound knowledge of Guernsey employment legislation and an understanding of the employment legislation applicable to other office locations are also required.

Due to expansion of the business an opportunity has arisen in our Swiss office for a Senior Trust Officer to administer an existing portfolio of clients.  

The ideal candidate will be reliable, precise and conscientious and have strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants must be able to speak English and a command of French and Spanish would also be an advantage. Five years’ experience in the administration of trust or corporate structures is required.

The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of the pension administration business and the associated retirement schemes and retirement funds.

Applicants must be educated to ’A’ level standard or above and have excellent communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. You must be able to work on your own initiative and to strict deadlines within a small team. Full training will be given.
