Looking for a career in financial services? We are looking for high calibre graduates to join our Graduate Training Programme in Autumn 2017. This two year programme provides an understanding of the diverse operations within a progressive financial services organisation. Structured training, on-the-job experience and one or more secondments to another Group office will give you an insight into working in the finance sector and life-long work skills such as decision making, negotiating and communicating.

Excellent academic results including GCSE grade A or above in Maths and English, six other GCSEs at grade C or above, three A levels at grade B or above,  a 2:1 degree  and a commitment to studying for a professional qualification e.g. ACCA; ICSA etc. are required. Applicants must be self-starters, adaptable, have good organisational skills and be able to use their initiative.

The job holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Human Resources function in the Guernsey office and assist with various HR matters for the Group’s Malta, Luxembourg, London and UAE offices. Responsibilities include recruitment and overseeing the induction process, performance management, co-ordinating the probationary and annual appraisal processes, remuneration and benefits including the annual salary review and promotion process and employee support. 

Applicant’s should have a minimum of 10 years’ relevant HR experience and be fully CIPD qualified (Chartered Member), or nearing qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to deal with staff of all levels, a sound knowledge of Guernsey employment legislation and an understanding of the employment legislation applicable to other office locations are also required.
